Firearms Certification
Our armed officers complete mandatory firearms training and pass state-approved range qualifications, in full compliance with licensing authorities in Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
Training includes:
- Handgun safety and handling

Handgun Qualification License (HQL)
A Maryland resident must possess a valid Handgun Qualification License (HQL) or qualify for an HQL exemption before they may purchase, rent, or receive a handgun. A Handgun Qualification License is not required to possess a handgun that you already legally own.

36-Hour Refresher FPS Security Class
The 36-Hour Refresher FPS Security Class in Maryland provides a comprehensive and immersive learning experience for security professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills in protecting federal facilities.
56 -hour FPS(GSA) Basic Course
This course is designed to provide foundational knowledge and skills necessary for working in a security-related role, including topics like security procedures, legal aspects, and physical security measures.
MEB Certification
Our officers are trained and certified in the proper use of the Monadnock Expandable Baton (MEB), a defensive tool authorized in select jurisdictions. Certification includes:
• Defensive tactics and control techniques
• Legal and ethical use-of-force standards
• Baton handling, deployment, and retention
• Scenario-based training for real-world application
MEB certification ensures our team can manage physical confrontations safely, minimizing harm while protecting people and property.
OC Spray Certified
Where authorized by state law and client policy, our officers are trained and certified in the safe, legal, and effective use of OC (pepper) spray. This includes:
• Proper handling and deployment
• Legal limitations by jurisdiction
• Decontamination procedures
• Use-of-force policies
OC spray is a non-lethal force option that provides added protection in situations where safety is at risk but lethal force isn’t justified.
CPR and First Aid Training
Every officer on our team is certified in CPR, AED, and basic First Aid through nationally recognized programs such as the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. Training covers:
• Adult and child CPR
• Use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED)
• Responding to injuries, bleeding, shock, and medical emergencies
• Coordinating with EMS during critical incidents
