Description
Progressive Security Group is an approved DC sponsoring agency providing sponsorship and administrative support for Security Officers (SO) and Special Police Officers (SPO) — armed and unarmed.
By submitting payment and proceeding with sponsorship services, the applicant acknowledges and agrees to the following:
- Progressive Security Group provides sponsorship and administrative support only for DC Security Officer (SO) and Special Police Officer (SPO) applications.
- Progressive Security Group does not provide firearms training, firearms qualification, or firearms certification.
- All required training, firearms qualification (if applicable), and third-party services must be completed through approved external providers.
- Sponsorship approval is subject to eligibility, documentation verification, and DC regulatory requirements.
- Submission of payment does not guarantee approval by the District of Columbia.
- Administrative/sponsorship fees may be non-refundable once processing has begun.

- Payment is required to begin sponsorship processing
