Event Security Officer
Progressive Security Group is seeking professional and dependable Event Security Officers to provide safety and crowd management for corporate events, private functions, conferences, concerts, and special events throughout Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia.

Our Event Security Officers play a critical role in maintaining a safe, organized, and professional environment while delivering excellent customer service to guests, staff, and vendors.

Responsibilities
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas
Verify credentials, tickets, or guest access
Maintain crowd control and assist with event flow
Respond to disturbances, emergencies, and safety concerns
Conduct routine patrols throughout the venue
Provide a visible and professional security presence
Coordinate with event staff, management, and emergency personnel

Qualifications
Strong communication and customer service skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to remain calm in fast-paced environments
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Prior event or security experience preferred
Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
